JOHN  CREEDON  -
CONFERENCE CHAIRPERSON










John Creedon produces and presents The John Creedon Show for RTÉ Radio 1. He has also been a columnist and features writer for The Sunday Independent, The Irish Times, The Irish Examiner and other publications. John regularly hosts national award ceremonies and concerts and is in demand as an MC and after dinner speaker.
 

PEDRO ANGULO  -
HEAD OF LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, AIB










Pedro Angulo is Head of Leadership Development in AIB, where he leads the design and implementation of enterprise-wide leadership development initiatives. He is also a Programme Director of the Diploma in Strategic HRM at the IMI (Irish Management Institute) and the President of the Irish EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council).

Pedro is passionate about creating more human, purpose led and customer-centric workplaces where HR plays a vital role in embedding a culture, values, talent practices, and organisational models, processes and systems to ensure authentic ‘customer delight’.

He leverages his 10+ years’ leadership experience in Fortune 100 & 500 companies (PwC, IBM, Deloitte) and in UK and Irish-based consultancies (Penna, Prospectus, Angulo Consulting), as well as his 7+ years part-time lecturing at the Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School at UCD.

He is a regular speaker and contributor at HR and Leadership Development events and conferences.

Having started his career in pirate radio, Alan Cox is now CEO of Ireland’s largest marketing & communications group (310 staff & €220M turnover). Alan is a thought leader in the industry, arguing for media co-operation in the face of disruptive change.

Nicola Byrne is the founder of Cloud90 and 11890 Directory Enquiries.
Cloud90 delivers front line services in Online Risk that occurs in words as opposed to a cyber threat. Cloud90 clients include leading banks, insurance companies, semi states, large global corporates through to working for SME's across the UK, US and Ireland. Nicola is the former President of the Irish Exporters Association and the first ever female to hold the role in the 68 year history of the association.
 

DECLAN JORDAN - 
SENIOR LECTURER IN ECONOMICS, UCC BUSINESS SCHOOL










Declan Jordan is Director of the Spatial and Regional Economics Research Centre and Senior Lecturer in Economics in Cork University Business School. His research interests include regional economics, innovation, regional development and competitiveness, and economic policy. He has published widely in these areas in international peer reviewed journals.

Prior to joining UCC, Declan gained substantial management and corporate experience, as Manager, Consulting with the leading Irish treasury and financial consulting firm in the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) and as Treasury Manager with Intel Ireland. He lectures at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has also taught on the Executive MBA programme in UCC. 

Declan has a PhD (Economics) from University College Cork. He is also a graduate University of Limerick and University College Dublin.
 

BOB SEMPLE -
TRAINER & LEADERSHIP EXPERT










Bob Semple is an experienced business professional with 40 years’ experience both in public accounting practice (where he was a partner with PwC) and as a Board Director.
Bob has extensive experience providing a range of audit and consulting services including corporate governance, risk management and internal audit. He is a director of GS1 Ireland and of CIMMYT, an international food research institute headquartered in Mexico.
 

GARRY MORONEY - 
FOUNDER OF CLAVIS INSIGHT










Garry Moroney founded Clavis Insight in 2008 and exited the business in late 2018 when he sold to Ascential for $119M. Clavis has its own technology which allows large FMCG and manufacturing companies to autonomously monitor their inventory. Garry is a serial entrepreneur, having previous founded another tech company which he sold in 2006 for $55M.
 

CATHY GLENNON - 
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, BEHAVIOUR & ATTITUDES










Cathy Glennon is an Associate Director with Behaviour & Attitudes. Cathy joined Behaviour & Attitudes in 2013. Here she works as a dualist researcher, on both qualitative and quantitative projects, with a wide range of clients from a number of different sectors. She is particularly experienced in the areas of media, motor, finance and health.
She is a recipient of three Marketing Society Research Excellence Awards: Excellence in Qualitative Research, Innovation in Research Approach (2016), and Product Innovation & NPD Research (2018).
 

PHELIM O'LEARY - 
CO-FOUNDER OF BEHAVIOUR & ATTITUDES










Phelim O'Leary is a Cork native and a graduate of UCC. He is founder and one of the original Directors of Behaviour & Attitudes. His career, spanning over 30 years, has seen him at the forefront of the development of qualitative research, not only within the company, but in Ireland. He has helped shape the brands and the advertising of numerous clients in Ireland and abroad, having also conducted many studies on an international basis for Behaviour & Attitudes. He remains involved as a regular consultant, occasional project contributor and valued Non-Executive Director.
