CPA Ireland Skillnet Diploma in Data Analytics

CPA Ireland Skillnet is delighted to launch a new Diploma in Data Analytics, commencing in November 2019! Data Analytics was one of the topics most requested by Members in our 2018 Training Needs Analysis Survey. This course will provide a high-level understanding of the main concepts associated with data analytics and how decision makers use analytics to formulate and support them in solving business problems and communicating that analysis to a management team.

Method: 5 full days &  final assessment

Location: Dublin & online via live streaming

Date: Late November 2019 - March 2020

CPD Credit: 40 hours (8 hours per day)

Cost: €1550 (non-members: €1750)

Learning Outcomes

Over the course of this programme, you will learn:

Data Analytics Tools

Develop a broad insight and understanding of data analytics tools, and the ability to extract useful knowledge from data.

Statistical Analysis

Develop a mastery of statistical techniques. Document key business trends, risk and market intelligence

Excel, Macro and VBA

Develop competence in Excel, Macro and VBA. Develop Data Visualization in Excel and RStudio

RStudio and Python

Perform Data Analysis in RStudio and Python. Develop a Statistical model for Credit and Market Risk
