The Role Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Compile and process monthly management accounts for ifac

  • Monthly analysis and in-depth reporting on financial performance for all group accounts

  • Review and report on the accounts payable and debtor control functions and ensure all statutory returns are made in a timely manner.

  • Co-ordinate the year-end reviews for all ifac offices

  • Oversee the management of continuous cost reduction processes.

  • Lead, develop and support the existing accounts team.

  • Liaise with the Head of IT in relation to on-going development of financial systems and ensure robust systems are always in place.

  • Liaise with all external advisers, insurance companies, banks, financial institutions etc.

  • Support the Senior Management team and all ifac Partners and develop excellent working relationships with all stakeholders in the business.

  • Liaise and assist external tax and audit teams with the production of the annual financial accounts for ifac Ensure at all times, that internal control and best practice processes are adhered to, with continuous analysis and improvements where necessary.


The Candidate:

Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will assume responsibility for the finance function. The ideal candidate will be an experienced accountant and will have; 

  • A professional accounting qualification, CPA/ACCA/ACA.

  • 3 - 5 years relevant, post qualification experience, ideally in a MNC or Accountancy Practice

  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.

  • The ability to direct, lead and influence colleagues at all levels Excellent communication and management skills The ability to work both independently and with others, without supervision and with transparency and attention to detail.
