As at 1 February 2024 we expected the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) to have issued the long-awaited Code of Practice on the right to request remote working and the right to request flexible working (parents and carers). Whilst we are still uncertain of exact timelines for the publication or commencement of the new code, what is certain is that when introduced, many Employers will face new challenges in managing flexible and remote working requests.
