CPA Ireland has welcomed the CRO announcement to extend the current filing arrangements for companies with an annual return date of 30
th of September or later until 28
th May 2021.
CRO have advised that all companies with an extension to file due to delayed AGMs until 26 February, 2021 will have a further extension to file until 28 May, 2021.
CPA Ireland made
representations through the Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies – Ireland (CCAB-I) to the CRO to express the concerns of members/issues raised by members engaging with the new CORE portal. Such concerns have been compounded by the challenge of engaging with clients during the Level 5 restrictions. CRO have responded by extending the deadline date.
