Update regarding filing of Annual Returns
Annual Returns falling due on or after 30 September 2020
The Registrar of Companies previously announced an extension of the filing deadline for companies with an Annual Return Date falling on 30 September or later. Any company with an Annual Return Date of 30 September or later was to be deemed to have filed on time if all elements of the annual return are completed and filed by 26 February 2021.
As a result of the level 5 restrictions that were in place and the challenges of adjusting to a new IT system, the Registrar
announced a further extension of the current filing arrangements for companies with an annual return date of 30
th September 2020 or later until
28th May 2021.
