29th February 2020 - Deadline for the Renewal of Practising Certificates

CPD Reminder for Investment Intermediaries

Firms are reminded of CPD requirements in respect of Category 1, 2.1 and 2.2 held authorisations, where grandfathered status was availed of in 2007, that 15 hours CPD in Investment Business must be completed each year including 1 hour of Ethics.

In recent court proceedings, The Irish Times reported that a personal insolvency practitioner has been ordered to pay legal costs after providing misleading information about his client in the first ruling of its kind.
