The 2021 Annual Report for the Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement was recently published, showing details of the activities of the office for 2021, including the receipt of 668 Liquidators Reports, 201 complaints and 131 Auditor’s Indictable Offence reports. During the year 51 company directors were restricted and 39 disqualified. €9.7m directors’ loans were rectified and 62 criminal charges directed.
